Drawing from research and on-farm experience\, the class emphasizes practical\, science-based strategies for improving soil health\, reducing erosion\, and building resilient farming systems. \nMark Dempsey works with the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association as conservation specialist and soil health educator. His background includes more than 15 years of research and education in soil microbiology\, no-till farming\, cover crops\, and sustainable agriculture systems.
