Save the Date for the Hoosier Chapter ofSWCS’s Annual Meeting on November 12th, 2026 from 10:00 – 3:00 (CT) pm, inMorocco, IN, home of the Kankakee Sands!

This year’s annual meeting will feature keyspeakers on wildlife habitat protection and management.

Matt Williams, Conservation Director andthe Bird Program Lead from the Sam Shine Foundation, will be discussing theCerulean Warbler habitat work with American Bird Conservancy. JeremyKranowits, President and CEO of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful’s Urban &Wildlife Work, will be discussing their different tree and habitatprograms. Trevor Edmonson, The Nature Conservancy, will bediscussing how they manage their prairies at Kankakee Sands with Bison.

We will also have a tour at the end of themeeting at Kankakee Sands for all attendees, as well as seeing the MOTUStower!

Lunch will be provided for attendees, andregistration will be required. Keep an eye out for more details regardingregistration!
